The technology committee is responsible for planning and leading the organization’s technology plan by assuring that the organization has a fully integrated system, accessible to appropriate staff, for fiscal management, program planning and evaluation, human resource development and record-keeping, financial management and resource development, marketing and communications, property management and membership tracking of youth, volunteers, alumni and others.
It provides for the establishment and implementation of an annual review and/or audit of the organization’s technology needs and systems; secures external technical resources and assistance to meet the technology needs of the organization; provides timely reports and information to the board of directors regarding technology and its support of the mission of the organization; develops written recommendations to meet the technology needs of the organization and presents them to the board for approval and implementation. The committee assures that all appropriate staff receives training in Club technologies and can demonstrate needed competencies to use them.
